Norco Civic Association Mission Statement
The mission of the Norco Civic Associations is to provide the people of Norco a unified voice to address the various concerns of our community; an organization that will focus on and promote issues that will bring about improvements in our community, parish, state and nation; an organization that will pursue and advance the objectives we believe are necessary to improve the quality of life for the people of Norco.
Formation of the Norco Civic Association (November 7, 1996)
On 11/7/1996 a meeting was called by Mr Sal Digirolamo to discuss forming a non-profit organization to represent
the town of Norco. It was decided that Norco needed an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in Norco and giving its citizens a unified voice in deciding their future. Hence, the Norco Civic Association was formed.
The following men and their families willingly and voluntarily gave their time and resources to form the Norco Civic Association in 1996 and became the first NCA Officers and Board of Directors:
Sal Digirolamo – President
Ronald St. Pierre – Vice President
Gerald Songy – Treasurer
Alex H. Livingston – Secretary
A.J. “Buddy” Chauvin – At-Large Director
Nick Digirolamo – At-Large Director
Lynn “Tony” Louviere, Sr. – At – Large Director
J.P. “Paul” Mire – At – Large Director
